The Association administer The Scottish Police Golf Championship,innaugurated in 1920,and comprises a committee of management drawn from the 9 forces in Scotland. It is hoped to develop this page to bring news of the Scottish Police Golf Championships.

Former Chief Constable, Mr. William Wilson, receives the Roderick Ross Challenge Cup for his success in the Chief Officers competition.

A member of Prestwick St. Cuthbert Golf Club since 1976 and also Prestwick St. I assisted the junior Convenor at Prestwick St. Cuthbert until taking the post on myself in 1987. During my 4 years as convenor, I was also elected Secretary of The Ayrshire Junior Golf League, in 1989, a position held until February 2006. Since 1989 I have also served on the Ayrshire Golf Association Executive in various roles.
I gained an S.G.U. Rules Of Golf qualification in 2003, and an similar R & A qualification in 2008.
